FAQ

Straight answers to fair questions

How the score is worked out, what AI may and may not touch, and what happens to your data.

Scoring and results

How is the score calculated?

By deterministic rules, not by an AI model. Parseability, formatting, content quality, evidence and keyword relevance each contribute a sub-score, and every deduction points at a specific rule and the text that triggered it. The same document always produces the same score.

Does a high score guarantee an interview?

No. A score measures how well your CV is structured, written and matched to a role. Hiring decisions depend on the employer, the pipeline and competition. Any product that promises interviews is overstating what it can do.

Why did my score change after I edited my resume?

Because the rules re-run over the new text. Scores are versioned, so you can see which engine version produced a result and compare it against a previous run.

AI and accuracy

Will AI invent experience for me?

No. AI may rewrite what you have already written, or ask you for a missing detail, but it is not permitted to add an employer, a qualification, a metric or a skill you never claimed. Suggestions that lack support in your CV are shown as questions for you to answer, not as finished text.

Does the product work if no AI provider is configured?

Yes. Resume building, parsing, formatting checks and rule-based scoring are deterministic and run without any AI provider. Only the rewriting and generation tools depend on one.

Is my resume used to train AI models?

No. Your documents are processed to produce your results. We minimise what is sent to a model provider and keep raw resume content out of ordinary logs and analytics.

Privacy and data

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete individual files, public links or your entire account. Deletion removes the stored files, not just the reference to them.

Who can see my resume?

Only you, unless you create a public share link. Share links are random, revocable, and excluded from search indexing by default.

Can I sign in from more than one device?

Yes. Sessions are stored on the server, listed per device, and can be revoked individually.

Plans and billing

What does the free plan include?

One resume, basic templates, preview and sharing, and an initial score. It does not expire.

Will paid plans renew automatically?

No. Paid access is planned as a one-time purchase covering a fixed period, with a clear expiry date and no automatic renewal.

What happens to my documents when paid access ends?

They remain in your account and stay readable. Export and premium tools stop until you buy access again.
